Howard Wertheimer
Howard Wertheimer

Institute Architect, Georgia Tech Facilities Management

Howard Wertheimer is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional. As Institute Architect, Wertheimer is responsible for the aesthetics and visual vocabulary of the campus. He has strategic oversight of the Campus Master Plan, Landscape Master Plan, Historic Preservation Plan, campus-wide sustainability initiatives, curation of public art, and most things that are visually exposed.

Jerry Young

Landscape Project Manager, Georgia Tech Facilities Management

Jerry Young is the primary project manager for all large landscape projects at Georgia Tech. Young is leading a design study of a landscape waste site. He also serves on numerous committees that help guide the campus to a greener, healthier outdoor environment, including the Landscape Work Group, the Facilities Sustainability Committee, Tech Beautification Day Committee and the Tree Campus USA initiative.
