The Van Leer Rotunda and two story connecting the wing to the main building will be closed through January of 2018.
The project will transform the front rotonda and building square. The rotonda will become a maker space that will enable students to practice hands-on designs.
Building and outdoor improvements will include:
- Improved accessibility and/or ADA Compliance
- Adaptive Reuse
- Performance Landscape
- Green Space and/or Open Space
- Additional Bike Racks
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:
- Start Date: November 1, 2016
- Anticipated End Date: January 30, 2018
Normal Working Hours: 7am-5pm. Weekend work will only be necessary in there are major rain delays.
Campus Detours or Interruptions:
Pedestrian traffic will be routed around the construction site on the south side using the Plum Street sidewalk/service road, the south side by the Fourth Street/Tech Green sidewalk and the west side by using the Atlantic Drive sidewalks. The Van Leer Rotunda and two story connecting the wing to the main building will be closed for the duration of the project.
