On April 18th, 9th Street parking will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The street will be closed to traffic beginning at 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. This closure is necessary to accommodate a crane that will be used to install a new generator for the 8th Street Apartments.

The 60-ton crane is needed to lift the old generator off the pad and replace it with the new one. The crane will need to set up on 9th Street which will have road closed signs, danger tape and flagmen in the locations indicated on the map (see image).
