Beginning May 28, water line installation work will impact Means Street.
Beginning Tuesday, May 28, the Tech Parkway and Ferst Drive Connectivity Plan associated water line project will install and tap the existing 12” water line on the west side of Means street at Tech Parkway. The southbound lanes of Means street will be closed from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and traffic will be diverted to one of the lanes for northbound traffic (see attached plan). Once the contractor installs the water line to the middle of Means Street, the southbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and traffic diverted to northbound lanes.
All temporary lane closures will include flag persons directing traffic around the construction activities. At the end of work hours the open trenches will be plated, and lanes will be reopened to normal traffic patterns. The goal is to complete the intersection work by June 1.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to make these campus improvements. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
